About Lenchner Glass
Lenchner Glass looks to define a distinctive future for fused glass design, ever expanding the way interior designers, architects, builders and patrons view the use of glass.
Lenchner Glass creates distinctive three-dimensional characteristics to provide a unique lens – through which natural and artificial light comes to life – transforming an environment like never before.
Lenchner Glass was founded in 2003 by Steven Lenchner. Steven and his team have an infectious sense of playfulness in design, and a steadfast commitment to collaborating with designers and architects to deliver elegant fused glass installations, while meeting budget and timeline requirements.
The company is located in Reseda, CA.
Interior designers and architects are invited to tour the studio.
Lenchner Glass architectural commissioned works include windows, custom tile, kitchen counter tops, lit backsplashes, under-lit counter tops, wall sconces, chandeliers, and room dividers for residential and commercial structures.
Steven’s talents as a lighting designer and collaborative glass artist have lent themselves well to designers and architects seeking diaphanously playful environments for their patrons.
Lenchner’s work first caught public notice in 2003 for his first solo showing of thirty frit (ground glass) paintings, “Wild Flower Studies”, at the Rick Robinson Gallery in downtown Los Angeles. Several Lenchner Glass pieces were featured in one of the Pacific Palisades Design Houses in 2005, and his work is in the private collections of Michael and Waung-Ee Blum, The Allen Family Collection, The Hoffman Institute, Steven Tobias, Susan and Jim Winston, and Bobi Leonard.
Lenchner Glass Company handcrafts several original lines of fused glass tableware, all of which convey our signature luminescence. Plates, platters, bowls, and more are unique with glass.
Custom tableware can also be created to match clients’ decor, where size, shape, thickness, glass tint, finish, texture, and motif bring people’s ideas to life.
